Welcome to Hermitage Elem School
Spring Intersession March 18 - 19 9:00 - Noon
Spring intersession will be here soon. We will concentrate on reviewing reading and math skills that will be on the TCAP test in April. We looked at our last DEA test results to identify students who scored basic or below basic in reading and/or math. The DEA results are a good indicator on how the students will perform on the TCAP test. If you have a 3rd or 4th grade student who has been identified as needing additional help you will receive a note the week of March 10th.
This morning Target presented our school with the Books for Schools Award worth $500 in books for our library! Thank you, Target!
Hermitage Elementary will soon have exciting news on our school becoming a Cambridge Primary School associated with the Cambridge International Examinations program from the Cambridge University. For more information click here.
Welcome to Hermitage Elementary School. Our enrollment is around 300 students in grades PreK-4. Royal blue and gold are our school colors and our mascot is Leo the Lion! We are part of the McGavock Cluster.
Recently renovated, the school added a new library, computer lab, and music room. All classrooms were updated to support the additional technology. The office was expanded and the cafeteria underwent major modernization.
